I am fascinated by microscopic images both natural and man made which cannot be seen without the use of a microscope or where fine details of objects can only be appreciated with the use of magnification. These images form a starting point for many of my abstract sculptures.

 

I have worked in a variety of media to produce work varying is scale and situation from smaller gallery pieces and installations to work in the natural environment. Much of my work of late has involved the use of wire, cement and plaster. At some time in the future I

intend to explore the use of a wider range of media.
